Hi, I’m Carl Kristensen.
Former traveler, current software engineer, still curious.
I work as a Software Engineer at Vend, where I spend my time on behavioral tracking across FINN, Blocket, Tori.fi, and a lot of other brands. From SDKs, micro-services to streaming data. I like tackling big problems and building data-driven systems that are actually useful.
Before Vend, I worked at Klaveness Digital, tracking ships, AIS data, and maritime movement. Before that, I was a general manager in a hospitality company in Trollstigen.
Earlier in life, I hitchhiked extensively around the world, including overland from Portugal to India. These days I live in Oslo, post on Mastodon, and like to swim at Tøyenbadet.
