July 2025 Reading List

Here's a curated list of what I've been reading this month. A mix of technical deep-dives, thought-provoking articles, and a great book on data visualization.

Articles

• "Using AWS Kinesis with KPL": Good overview of some Kinesis quirks and how to use the Kinesis Producer Library (KPL) effectively. Useful for anyone working with real-time data streams.

Books

• "Moby Dick" by Herman Melville: I really like the start of this book, the friendship between Ishmael and Queequeg is interesting. The middle of the book is draggy but the ending is fantastic :D
• "Viagens na minha terra" by Almeida Garrett: I always enjoy reading old books and see how people thought back then. Not so different from today, I guess.
